Shipping and Delivery Terms

GLAMSTONE INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, with its registered address at 39/A Sir Hariram Goenka Street – 700007 – India (“Glamstone”, “we”, “us” or “our”), operates https://glamstone.co.in/ and its mobile application/website/tablet/desktop platforms (“Glamstone Platform”). Through these platforms, we facilitate the sale of Gold, Silver, and Lab Grown Diamond jewellery, coins, and other products under the Glamstone brand (“Products”) to users of the Glamstone Platform (“Users” or “you” or “your”).
1.2 Policy Overview
This delivery and shipping policy (“Policy”), along with the Terms, outlines our procedures for the delivery and shipping of Products purchased on the Glamstone Platform.
1.3 Shipping Services
We provide shipping and delivery services for our Products across India. To ensure you have a hassle-free experience, we partner with leading logistics service providers to handle your order in the best possible way. We strive to ensure that the Products are delivered to you promptly.
1.4 Agreement to Terms
By using the Glamstone Platform and/or purchasing a Product on the Glamstone Platform, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Policy without modification. We encourage you to read and understand the terms of this Policy each time you visit the Glamstone Platform. If you do not agree to the terms outlined in this Policy, please refrain from using, accessing, or transacting on the Glamstone Platform.
2.1 Logistic Partners
We use third-party logistic service providers to facilitate product shipping and delivery to you (“Logistic Partners”). You will receive the details of the Logistic Partner responsible for handling your order when it is successfully processed and handed over to them. Our standard dispatch timelines range from 5 to 7 days (15 to 21 days in case of made to order products) from the date of your order on the Glamstone Platform. You will be provided with an estimated delivery timeline at the order confirmation stage. We will also send you order details after dispatch via the email and/or mobile number you provided. While we primarily use Logistic Partners, we reserve the right to ship and deliver products ourselves without involving third-party service providers.
2.2 Serviceable Areas
While we strive to deliver products across India, we may, at our discretion, designate certain areas as unserviceable. Our Logistic Partners and we do not provide shipping and delivery services to these areas, and orders from these locations may not be processed. If an area is unserviceable, we will notify you at the time of placing your order. You can also check serviceability by entering the relevant area pin code on the Glamstone Platform.
2.3 Customer Information
To ensure timely delivery, we may request information such as your name, shipping address, billing address, landmarks, and contact details. You must ensure all provided information is accurate and sufficient to identify the delivery location. You will be liable for any delivery failures due to incorrect, incomplete, or insufficient information provided at the time of order placement. We will not be responsible for issues arising from inaccurate or incomplete information.
2.4 Delivery Attempts
We will attempt to deliver your order to the designated address within the estimated timeline provided. If you are unavailable to accept the delivery, our Logistic Partners will make up to three delivery attempts. If all attempts fail and you remain unavailable, we reserve the right to cancel the order and return the product to us. We may deduct shipping and delivery charges from any refunds processed due to such cancellations.
2.5 Delivery Delays
While we aim to ensure timely delivery, delays may occur due to:
- Logistical issues beyond our control.
- Adverse weather conditions.
- Political disruptions, strikes, or lockouts.
- Natural disasters like floods or earthquakes.
- Other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will attempt to inform you via your registered email or mobile number. We disclaim all liabilities for failure to inform or notify you of delivery delays and will not compensate for any claims arising from delayed shipment or delivery.
2.6 Conduct of Logistic Partners
We strive to engage Logistic Partners, employees, and agents who uphold high standards of ethics and professionalism. However, we cannot control the actions of delivery personnel. We are not liable for any acts or omissions, such as service deficiencies, incorrect deliveries, or package tampering, by our Logistic Partners or their employees. Any issues between you and delivery personnel must be resolved independently.
2.7 Order Tracking
Once you place an order on the Glamstone Platform, it is processed and handed over to our Logistic Partner. You will receive a unique tracking number to monitor your order’s delivery status. You can use this tracking number on the Glamstone Platform or the Logistic Partner’s website/app to check the delivery status. Our customer service team coordinates with Logistic Partners to ensure timely delivery, but we do not guarantee the accuracy of tracking information due to potential time-lags or technical issues.
2.8 Shipping Fees
We reserve the right to charge shipping fees, which may vary based on product value, type, delivery area, and payment method. These fees will not be refunded for returns, except in cases where a defective, damaged, or incorrect product is delivered, as verified by us. Title and risk of the products pass to you upon delivery.
2.9 Return Shipping
Returns are facilitated through our reverse-Logistic Partners. Upon receiving and acknowledging your return request, our reverse-Logistic Partners will contact you to collect the product. Cancellations and returns are processed per our Cancellation, Return, and Refund Policy
