Return and Refund Terms
1.1 Introduction
GLAMSTONE INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, with its registered address at 39/A Sir Hariram Goenka Street – 700007 – India (“Glamstone”, “we”, “us” or “our”), operates https://glamstone.co.in/ and its mobile application/website/tablet/desktop platforms (“Glamstone Platform”). Through these platforms, we facilitate the sale of Gold, Silver, and Lab Grown Diamond jewellery, coins, and other products under the Glamstone brand (“Products”) to users of the Glamstone Platform (“Users” or “you” or “your”).
1.2 Policy Overview
This return and refund policy (“Policy”), along with the Terms, outlines our procedures for the return, refund, exchange, and buyback purchased on the Glamstone Platform.

1.4 Agreement to Terms
By using the Glamstone Platform and/or purchasing a Product on the Glamstone Platform, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Policy without modification. We encourage you to read and understand the terms of this Policy each time you visit the Glamstone Platform. If you do not agree to the terms outlined in this Policy, please refrain from using, accessing, or transacting on the Glamstone Platform.
Lifetime Buyback Policy
At Glamstone, we offer a Lifetime Buy-Back Policy on all purchases. Here’s how it works:
- Return Process: You can return the product along with the original certificate for buy-back based on its current market value. Deductions will include making charges, taxes, and a ₹500 processing fee.
- Discounts and Gifts: If you received a discount or a free gift at the time of purchase, the original discount amount or the value of the gift will be deducted. Alternatively, you can return the gift.
- Calculation of Buyback Value: The buy-back value will be calculated based on the current market rate on the day the exchange request is made. A ₹500 processing charge for shipping and handling will apply unless the product is returned in-store, in which case this fee is waived.
Specifics for Different Categories:
- Diamond & Gemstone Jewellery:
- 100% of the gold/platinum/silver value at prevaling market rates on the date request is raised.
- 80% of the diamond/gemstone value at prevaling market rates on the date return is raised.
- Deductions for making charges and a ₹500 processing fee.
- Coins:
- 100% of the gold/silver value at prevaling market rates.
- Deductions for making charges.
- Solitaire Jewellery: If the solitaire certificate is missing, a standard deduction of ₹3500 per certificate applies. For larger solitaires, this deduction may be higher based on size.
Conditions:
- Alterations: Jewellery showing signs of alteration by anyone other than Glamstone will not be accepted for buy-back. We reserve the right to adjust the value of the product after quality inspection, with justification provided.
- Certificate Loss: Loss of the original product certificate results in a ₹1000 deduction.
- Eligibility:
- Original invoice and certificate must be produced for buyback.
- Products bought from non-Glamstone stores are not eligible for buyback.
- Buyback applies to products purchased for up to ₹99,999.
- If the product was purchased via EMI, any unpaid EMI amounts will be deducted.
Approval Process:
- Valuation Approval: You need to visit the Order History page within 15 days of receiving the valuation to approve or reject it.
- Refunds: Upon acceptance, the amount will be refunded to your bank account. If not approved within 15 days, the amount will be auto-refunded. If rejected, the jewellery will be shipped back to you.
Lifetime Exchange Policy
If you choose to exchange your product, the value after deductions for making charges, taxes, processing fees, and discounts will be credited to your Glamstone account for future purchases. This value cannot be encashed.

- Approval: Once received, we will conduct a quality inspection. You will be notified of the exchange value, and upon approval, the amount will be credited to your Glamstone account for use on our website.
- Rejection: If the exchange is rejected, the jewellery will be shipped back to you.
- Usage: The credited exchange value must be used within 365 days for purchasing products from our website.
This policy ensures a seamless and transparent exchange process, allowing you to shop with confidence at Glamstone.
15-Day Easy Return Policy
At Glamstone, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our 15-day easy return policy allows you to return products for any reason within 15 days for a full refund or exchange.
Exclusions:
The 15-day easy return policy does not apply to:
- Orders exceeding ₹49,999.
- Products previously exchanged under this policy. For second exchanges, please refer to our Lifetime Exchange Policy.
- Not applicable on Gold and Silver coins
- Customised, personalised, or engraved products.
Return Conditions:
- Products must be returned in their original packaging, in saleable condition, without any scratches, damage, wear, or alterations.
- All stickers and tags must remain intact.
- Returns will not be processed if the product tag or original packaging is tampered with.
Refund Process:
- Quality Check:
- Once we receive the returned product, a quality check will be conducted to ensure it meets the return conditions.
- Refund:
- For cash on delivery orders: Refunds will be transferred to your bank account.
- For prepaid orders: Refunds will be credited to the original payment method (Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI/Net Banking).
- Documentation:
- The product must include the original product certificate and the original or a copy of the invoice.
- Packaging:
- Return the jewellery in its original packaging along with the certificate.
- Acknowledgement:
- Ensure you receive an acknowledgment for the item being picked up (pickup receipt, photo of tracking number, or SMS confirmation).
- Refund Timeline:
- After passing the quality check, the refund will be processed to your bank account within 10 business days. Items showing signs of wear, alteration, resizing (other than Glamstone), or damage cannot be accepted.
- Certificate Loss:
- A ₹1000 deduction will apply for the loss of the original product certificate.
- EMI Purchases:
- For products bought through EMI, 2% of the total amount will be deducted from the refund of the initial instalment.
- Reverse Pickup:
- Glamstone will arrange a reverse pickup for customers unable to return their products to any of our stores.
